Lachlan, called “the greatest voice in the universe” by Frio, channels his feelings of isolation into genre-blurring Alternative music. In 2022, a video call with friend Deyaz ignited his confidence to create music, leading to his first demo, “LEAN”—a captivating, infectious, mid-tempo track (co-writer Nathan Sabo). His release, “Immortal Structure,” solidified his reputation as one of music’s great vocalists.

As 2023-2024 unfolded, Lachlan embarked on a transformative journey away from mainstream music. This new direction was heavily influenced by the fallout of a twelve-year relationship, grappling with issues that manifested as depression, and mania—experiences that were influential to the storytelling of his forthcoming album, Paroxysm.

A multi-instrumentalist and producer, his eclectic sound is a mosaic of Alternative Pop infused with elements of Hip Hop, Punk Rock, and Electronic Music, drawing from artists like Nate Sib and quip. Lachlan’s debut single, “Lithium,” released on July 19, 2024, quickly made waves, debuting at #6 on Hyperpop Daily’s ‘Underground Aura’ and #26 on HYPERPOP BANGERS. The track received widespread acclaim, setting the stage for a breakout moment.

As one of the newer faces of the Hyperpop genre, Lachlan continues to carve out a space where vulnerability meets innovation, crafting a sonic landscape that speaks directly to the heart.
